Homeworld
What we think we know
Homeworld is the name of Doctor Wonka's home planet. No, really, that's it. We could give you a mind-bogglingly complicated word in the Doctor's native language that his people use to refer to their home planet but you would only ever use it to impress your friends at comic con, and besides the local translation of that word is simply Homeworld. Homeworld is the home planet of The People, a highly intelligent and advanced race of epicures whose civilization is devoted primarily to advancing food and drink science. It is also home to the University of Homeworld which is a school esteemed highest in the galaxy for the education of food science.
The only thing we really know about Homeworld is what Doctor Wonka tells us, and what he tells us is that he really doesn't like it very much. We know that the planet is not that beautiful, but The People don't really care much about appearances, and besides, there's no real reason to tidy up when nobody can get to the planet anyway (see You can't get there from here). We also know that, while they are not the originators of spacetime travel in a box, they are the first to develop spacetime travel in a light distorting glass box called a "Glass Elevator." They are also the creators of a universally delectable food called "Fancy Bread" and have amassed great wealth in being the sole creators and distributors of the product.Little is known about the planet Homeworld and its inhabitants, The People.
